**A travel fee MAY be required based on your location. Once you have returned your puppies Kindergarten class application and we know where we are going we'll let you know the amount of the travel fee. This fee is in addition to the consult fee and covers our time and gas to get to you.

Congratulations! You’re getting a puppy!
Are you a bit overwhelmed with planning for the arrival of your new puppy? Do you need help in deciding on the type of puppy that will fit perfectly into your family and lifestyle? Do you need help getting your puppy settled into your home when you first bring them home? Or maybe you have a boisterous puppy who is making your life crazy with barking, fussing, chewing, biting and having potty accidents. Baby puppies have a LOT to learn and I can help you get off on the right track from day one with your Personalized Puppy Consultation. If you have your puppy already, we need to get together as soon as possible. If you haven’t yet selected or brought your pup home, let me know when you expect your pup to arrive and we can connect beforehand if you’d prefer to be sure you have what you need for that first day together.
Your Personal Puppy Consultation consists of an in-person session in your home. During our consult we will address any concerns or challenges you are having with your pup if your pup is home with you already, or we can discuss how best to prepare for your new puppies’ arrival to help them transition from their first family and littermates to living with you in a new home with strange people. We will discuss puppy proofing your home, potty training, puppy biting and chewing, jumping up, stealing items, how to help your new puppy cope with being alone. You’ll be given our puppy starter pack which includes handouts to help you get started with socializing your pup in a safe, fun and successful way along with helpful training tips you can get started with while you are waiting to join our next Puppy Kindergarten group class.
I always recommend enrolling your new puppy in Puppy Kindergarten as soon as they come home and scheduling a Puppy Consult will get you off on the right path until the next Kindergarten group starts. Puppy Kindergarten is for baby puppies between 9 and 20 weeks and both you and your puppy will benefit the MOST from this group the sooner you enroll.
